Hi, my name is José Alvarado. I was born in Guatemala City on May 25, 2009. I lived 3 years in Costa Rica where my love for soccer began. I believe that this sport represents me a lot because of who I am. The values that this sport has given me is discipline, passion, commitment, etc. I play as an offensive midfielder and sometimes as a forward too. I am not a player that does many dribbling because I like to play simple and effective.
TEAMS AND EXPERIENCE
I started playing soccer in River Plate academy in Costa Rica when I was 2 years old. When I came to Guatemala I played in a local academy. Then, in 2016 I started playing at Juventus Academy, the team that I currently play for. Playing for this team has provided me with so many experiences. I went to Spain and play the Donosti Cup as team captain. I also played in CEJUSA, a youth high-level league in Guatemala and was elected to participate in the team that was traveling to Italy to the Juventus Academy World Cup, but because of the pandemic, the tournament got cancelled. Today, I am a member of Talent Development- a program that prepares me in all aspects of my career that will help me make my dreams come true with effort and dedication.
